What Causes Dizziness And Breathlessness After Accidental Inhalation Of Chewing Gum?

default
Posted on Mon, 15 May 2017
Question: about a month ago i accidentally inhaled the tiny piece of chewing gum. I work out mildly and seem to be short of breath, and after exercising sometimes I am lightheaded, where I have to sit down before I fall down. It almost seems I can feel an obstruction. Is it going to grow, disappear?

Brief Answer:
There is nothing to worry about!

Detailed Answer:
Hi ans thank so much for reaching out to us.

I have reviewed your information fully. There is nothing to worry about. For sure, it is not in your air passages. If this were the case, you would have been coughing all the times and almost unable to breath. This gum is certainly in the stomach and will go out with food. There is just nothing to bother about. Be calm and relaxed and stop getting too worried about this.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
