Generally speaking, : - distended gallbladder is caused by many problems, that PET scan should have diagnosed. That's why I need the reports - fatty liver might indicate that you are overweight, or suffering of hypercholesterolemia - moderate hiatal hernia means that a part of the stomach enters the hiatal opening. It usually does not give any problem, just stomach upset or heartburn. Looking forward to have the PET scan reports in! Dr.Klerida

I do not have a copy of the PET results. GP just emailed me with the comments that I gave to you. When I called the nurse she sad "it looked normal." Would a blocked bile duct appear on a PET? My mother had that too.
