Brief Answer:
Are you still on omeprazole?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain. From your symptoms, it is suggestive of acid related pains. If you are no longer on omeprazole, I would suggest that you get back to it. If you were still on it, then the dosage may need adjustments. The description of your pain cannot be associated to the follicular cyst and this is a totally normal finding in a woman of your age.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Thank you for your response. I read up laryngophearl reflux and I think my symptoms are more of that because I have Never had a heart burn but more of throat discomfort and breathing issues. I did a gastroscopy 3 months back and the throat was fine. My doctor doesn't think anything drastic could av happened btwn then and now. How often do I have to check and are there any natural remedies for this ailment cos since I started this mess my XXXXXXX hasn't been the same. I have excess gas coming up through belching and the back and neck pain is silently present. Can I replace omeprazole with holland and bArrets slippery elm and alive Vera capsules. I read that in the case of lpr, acid reducers increase the chances of bile and other unwanted stomach fluids come up the throat and damage the throat.

I am still on omeprazole 20mg in the morning and nite

Brief Answer:
What is laryngohearl reflux? I don't know about this condition!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have no idea as to what home remedies to recommend. I generally do not use herbal medications because am always concerned about safety. Otherwise, reflux disease requires that you avoid eating just before going to bed, avoid leaning forward after meals and using a pillow for sleeps. These really help prevent reflux and pain.

I suggest you continue the medications. Please, keep away from herbs and if you must try them out, then see whether they help or not and make the decision to continue or not.

I wish you well ready for more exchanges if need be.
