It can be an allergic reaction, insect bite hypersensitivity reaction or urticaria.
Are you having itching or burning on the spots?
Did you use or apply anything new on the affected area?
I would recommend you to upload the photographs of the affected areas so that I can have a clearer picture of the condition and can guide you accordingly.

Not itchy burned for maybe two minutes but it has calmed. It is also not as red as before. Still noticeable though.

I have reviewed the attached photographs though they are not very clear.
It seems to be allergic reaction and if it is already resolving I would recommend you to just apply calamine lotion on it.
For burning you can take tablet Chlorpheniramine 4 mg once daily.
