Brief Answer:
No harm in meeting a gastroenterologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am DR Mittal
I have read your query.
The possibility is high that the hot food has scalded your GI tract.
There is never any harm in meeting a doctor.
You can meet a gastroenterologist to be sure.
Meanwhile, I would suggest syrup sucralfate 3 tsf 4 times a day.
The idea is that it will cover the raw mucosa, and give it time to heal.
Also, take soft or fluid diet in the duration.
It will give the tract time to heal.
I hope that it helps.

Best of luck
