Brief Answer:
Stop antibiotics, monitor!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this discomfort in your testicles and shaft that you have reported.

I have reviewed your information fully and there is no acute disease process that can cause symptoms in the testicles as well as the shaft. the only possibility is minor blunt trauma that passed unnoticed. There is just no reason to suspect and infection here.

For now, I recommend that you stop the antibiotics. Try a Tylenol for pain relief and monitor the symptoms closely. Should there be any aggravation or persistence for more than a week, please let me know so that we may make the decision for further evaluation together. I will strongly discourage you from constantly manipulating it as it rather aggravates the pain and delays healing.

Please, if you are sexually active, always consider protection during sex. It prevents sexually transmitted infections when correctly used.

I hope this addresses your query fully. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free too ask for more information and clarification if need be.

Would this cause a bit pain when erecting until the healing and it looks like a little swell. Could this be an injury as a result of masturbation?
What kind of medicine can I use?

Brief Answer:
Pain medications

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.

If you do masturbate, then that could have been the origin of the blunt trauma. I will suggest that you be more gentle next time.

Use a combination of Ibuprofen and Tylenol as recommended by your doctor. This would address the pains and allow for full healing.

For sure, you would feel some sort of pain during erections as a result of the trauma. This would slowly regress and disappear when healing is complete.

I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more clarification if need be.

There should be no reason for panic? How long will it take to heal as it is very uncomfortable as the pain feels like it's there get not there, if that makes sense

Brief Answer:
No reason for panic right now!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for following up with me.

There is no information right now that should make me feel like something terrible is going on. This would soon be over. I know the urge to manipulate, touch and see whether the pain is still there is constant but, you should refrain from doing so.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Update me in 7days so that I can understand what has been going on and re-evaluate to see if there is need for more medical attention.
