What Causes Difficulty In Retracting Penile Foreskin?

default
Posted on Tue, 20 Jan 2015
Question: Hi

I need some help. I am 27 year old and I cannot retract my penile fore skin. I have never done it before. Sounds silly but until last year I was not aware of the fact that it has to be retracted. I see some small bumps(Very tiny) on the fore skin and the inside skin (foreskin- when I try to retract) is pretty much folded. And I have seen few pictures of foreskin in internet, When I compare I find myself in pretty horrible condition.
I have read few blogs, where they have mentioned that the bumps are symptoms of penile cancer. I am very scared. Please let me know what should I do

Brief Answer:
You have Phimosis from birth.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have what is called as Phimosis.
However it needs to be confirmed by a clinical examination by a qualified Urologist or General Surgeon.

The bumps that you see beneath the foreskin are due to chronic infection of the foreskin and Glans penis (Ballano Posthatitis)due to long standing accumulation of smegma beneath foreskin.

You need to get circumcised .This is a simple surgery done under local anaesthesia as a out patient surgery and offers permanent cure.

Do not worry this is not a penile cancer.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions , I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
