What Causes Difficulty In Passing Urine?

default
Posted on Mon, 7 Mar 2016
Question: Why can't I pee? My bladder is completely full, but i physically cannot pee. I go to the bathroom and, as we all know, usually it just comes out. But for some reason it isn't. I have to push and push for awhile and then I only get a small stream. then I have to push and push again for anpther small stream. It's exhausting and it takes a really long time. and i can't get it all out so my bladder is still full. Why can't I just pee?

Brief Answer:
Bladder neck obstruction, cause to be found out.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns.
The commonest causes can be:
Stone at the bladder neck or in urethra.
Stricture urethra.

In such a situation I would advise you the following:
Rush to the ER to get clinical evaluation, investigations and further therapy in the form of catheterization.
Emptying a full bladder is an urgent task.

I hope you understand the urgency, please rush to ER.
