Brief Answer:
Treatment and prevention will depend upon the cause of spacing..

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain spacing between the teeth can occur due to a number of causes like gum infections, misalignment of teeth, teeth grinding, erosion of teeth, abrasion etc..

I would like to know a few details before I can guide you further..

1. The gaping between the teeth is present only in front teeth or in all teeth..
2. Is the gaping present since childhood or has started recently?
3. Do you have any gum infection?
4. Do you have any medical problem like Diabetes?
5. Do you have acid reflux?

If possible please send me the images of your teeth for a better understanding so that I can guide you better towards treatment..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
