Question: Hi, My name if XXXXX. My daughtefr is 45 years, has a daughter who is 11. My daughter says she has cancer of the lung (heavy smoke). However, she will not tell us anything more. Her symptoms are
entire bodily pain, (takes subutex for pain), diahrrea, fatigue. My husband and I are supporting her
completely except for $ 400 for child support. She will not allow me to go with her to any of her doctors. If I question her at all she gets defensive, I feel she is ashamed of her disease is why she is so secretive.
She has not had a biopsy although she claims to have had medicine for the treatment of the cancer.
All whom I have talked to regarding cancer, all say that you have to have a biopsy to know how to teat the person. I have looked up symptoms of HIV and found that she has several of those symptoms.

Yes, HIV infection is the possibility.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your daughter's situation and problem.
Diarrhoea is uncommon in lung cancer.
Diarrhoea is common in HIV infection. But you need to get done testing for HIV for confirmation. One can not diagnosed HIV, only on the basis of symptoms.
But treatment of lung cancer, chemotherapy, can cause diarrhoea.
Chemotherapy is based on type of lung cancer and for this, biopsy is must.
So you need to see reports for confirmation of disease.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wishing good health to your daughter. Thanks.
