Question: Recently finished antibiotics for treatment of UTI. (took last pills 6 days ago) Have had intermittent diarrhea, stabbing pain during intercourse for last 8 days. Could this be from UTI not being cleared up? Do I need to follow up with my doctor?

Brief Answer:
probably antibiotic side effects

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

diarrhea and pain during intercourse sound like antibiotic side effects. Antibiotic associated diarrhea is a very common side effect and usually gets better after stopping the antibiotic. If it won't stop then visiting your doctor would be needed.

The pain during intercourse could be related to vaginitis (probably caused by fungus overgrowth, due to the antibiotic effect on normal flora of the vagina). You should visit your gynecologist for that. There are tests to confirm it, although it is usually accompanied by symptoms like itching or vaginal discharge.
