Brief Answer:
viral infection or food poisoning are most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your comments.
The two most common things to cause diarrhea and fever are infection of some sort and food poisoning.
If it has been going for almost a week you may have something more serious like a bacterial infection.
Also you may be getting dehydrated due to the loose stools.
It is best that you see a doctor and get stool studies done to determine the cause.
If your fever is high, if you have abdominal pain or severe vomiting then these would be signs that you would need to go to emergency.
If you are able to keep hydrated, temperature is low grade (less than 100) and you are not in pain then you could see your doctor on Monday.
However, do not delay if you are feeling bad or have pain.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
