Brief Answer:
Irreversible changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I am afraid to say that the CT scan changes of hemiatrophy and gliosis with ex-vacuo dilatation are irreversible changes.
However,it is the symptoms and clinical condition that matters the most in this scenario. Some of the milestones can be delayed physiologically also by 1-2 months. However, your child needs to be examined by a pediatric neurologist for detailed milestones assessment and neurological examination.Just delayed crawling, does not make it pathological.Other milestones like speech, turning in bed, attention, standing with support are also important at this stage. He needs a detailed neurological evaluation. Please get your child physically examined by a pediatric neurologist.

Hope that helps. If you have any further question,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.

Brief Answer:
Symptoms are to be treated and not the CT.Please upload the CT image.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

I must tell you that it is the clinical manifestations of the patient which are important and are to be treated.Patient and not the CT's/MRI's are treated. However,I would like to have a look at the CT image to have a better idea. Please scan the CT film and upload here.
