Question: Hi,
my wife missed her period by one week but still her urine test for pregnancy is negative.she did test 2 times in this week.
can you please answer that what can be the reason.
is she pregnant?
Last month she got spotting for 3 days starting from 5th of April and after 7th her regular period started.

I will suggest her to get her thyroid hormone and prolactin levels done and an ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and take further treatment accordingly.
Pregnancy is ruled out if the urine pregnancy test is negative.
