What Causes Delay In Periods Post Unprotected Sex?
Question: Hi sir, me and my gf had unprotected sex 1 month before and now she get delayed her periods for 10 days she expected it on 14th but it didn't came yet. So sir plz suggest me what steps I have to take and which pills will be helpful to prevent from any pregnancy...

Pregnancy if it is indeed cannot be prevented now. However the cause of delayed period can be from other causes. My plan of action will be as follows:
As the periods have been delayed by 10 days now and you have had unprotected sex 1 month back and not taken any emergency contraception pill as well, my advise would be first to rule out any pregnancy by a simple urine pregnancy test.
once ruled out on Urine preg test , then she may undergo an ultrasound pelvis to check for endometrium thickness and can be planned further for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones to regain her menses back.
But if test is positive then you have to decide to either continue or terminate the pregnancy. it can be done safely under supervision by medical methods.
So first get the urine pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy.
