Question: I am diagnosed with mild OSA. Syntoms of daytime sleepyness, Insomnia, frequent dizziness, and headaches. My grades have plummeted: almost all F's when i useds to have A and Bs. Also have had rapid deteriation of vision over 6 month period. Also a few central apneas occured during the study. I was wondering if there could be a condition causing the apnea and other syntoms. Would a brain tumor or Some other brain defect be possible?

Brief Answer:
consult the doctor and get evaluated.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for your query . As per your history quoted, it is assured that your sleep study tells that u have OSA mild degree. This needs a detailed ent examination to rule our any any anatomical and physiological obstruction in the airway. Please consult with the doctor and get evaluated. Your insomnia, tiredness, loss of attention can also be because of OSA only. Apart from this, at your age brain tumour brain defect is quite unlikely. But still needs to be ruled out. Without clinical and radiological examination, it is not possible to corellate the symptom like this. I would suggest you to consult with the doctor and get evaluated. Hope my answers have helped you. Thanks.
