Brief Answer:
Viral Infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello.Delighted to be able to help.
It seems that your wife is suffering from a viral infection with gastrointestinal symptoms. These syndromes are usually self-limiting(48-72 hours) but there are things that can help his wife:

1.-To treat vomiting is recommended Metoclopramide 10 mg thrice a day. This is a prescription drug. Any use of prescription drug has to be evaluated and prescribed by a doctor locally.

2.-To treat diarrhea is recommended Loperamide 2mg four a day.

3.-It is important to start as soon as possible drinking isotonic drink (without sugar) to prevent
dehydration. When drinking is well tolerated, begins to take astringent foods as rice with potato and carrot, chicken cooked without oil, apple, banana, toast or whitefish cooked without oil.

Following these recommendations, your wife will feel better.
Please consult a doctor for prescription.

I Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.If you do not have any clarifications, please don’t forget to evaluate my answer.I wish you good health.
