Sour mouth is because of reflux of gastric juice from the stomach. Here is what you should do
1. Tab Omeprazole with domperidone is the ideal tablet for this. Take one tablet daily before breakfast for 7 days
2. Do not sleep immediately after eating
3. avoid caffeine, alcohol and smoking
4. Make sure you have smaller meals daily instead of 3 full meals.
5. Meet a gastroenterolgist for an endoscopy to rule out reflux esophagitis
