Brief Answer:
A CT scan PNS will shed more light

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the query.

Constant sinus related complaints can be there with much acute symptoms in long standing cases when the acute phase is not there and body immunity has tried to contain infection in the sinus only.

still apart from congestion and headache some nasal discharge/ rhinorrhoea is usually there but varied presentations can be there.

Please consult an ENT and to have a good look into the sinuses, a CT scan para nasal sinuses is required.

Meanwhile please use nasal decongestant along with mucolytic and steam inhalation.

Feel free to ask another query.

Regards

Hi could sinus issues involve head pressure when laying down on the side you lay on then switch sides and it goes to the other side of your face. Like moving pressure that gets better when standing? Lasting for 2 months now no real congestion

Brief Answer:
postural variations are known in sinus infection

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.

Postural variations do occur with sinus heaviness and pain but usually more so on stooping forward and less related to side variations.

Two months is not a very long period for chronic sinus problems. But CT scan is a good method to clear doubts.

Feel free to ask another query.
