What Causes Constant Movement In Stomach With Loud Noises And Pain?

default
Posted on Tue, 25 Nov 2014
Question: Hi, I have constant movement in my stomach like when I eat, lay down on either of my sides and even drink things. I've had about 4 pregnancy test done by urine and 1 by blood. I've gone to see a GI which said the symptoms I have he has never heard of and wanted to do a endoscopy. I had a trans vaginal ultrasound done but never had one done to detect a fetal heartbeat or movement. My stomach also moves to loud noises. I am now having stabbing pains in my left side going to my abdomen and I have had back pains for a month now. Also, I am peeing a lot but it's very clear like water. I have mild stomach cramps also. ive been trying to time it but nothing ever stays constant. The pain goes from 2-3 minutes to 5-10 minutes and sometimes longer but only last for 1 minute or so

Brief Answer:
Enteroclysis / Barium studies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for an elucidate history.

The constant movement in the abdomen as you have explained, loud noises, stabbing pains in left side going to the abdomen, back pains and stomach cramps is suggestive of an intestinal obstruction.

I would advise you to go for X-ray of the abdomen in standing position whenever you have symptoms and Enteroclysis under fluoroscopy control to confirm or rule out whether you have intestinal obstruction or so.

Trans-vaginal ultrasound can not miss pregnancy at all, it is always seen by the Radiologist, so please do not doubt about this. You already have done pregnancy tests ( i hope they all are negative as you have not mentioned about positive). I was just wondering why would you be so much bothered about pregnancy that you tested so many times?

Peeing a lot with a clear urine can be due to anxiety or urinary tract infection you may have ) .

Get tests for blood, urine and stool.

I hope this answer helps you to get an early diagnosis and a plan for treatment accordingly.

Please fell free to ask for more if you need further clarification.
