Brief Answer:
You need to take urinalysis

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic!

Though you don't have pain or fever, it still can be urinary tract infection. Also needs to be worked up for casts in urine as these can give muddy appearance to the urine. In any case, a urinannalysis is a must with urine for eosinophil and casts. Renal function tests to check for urea and creatinine may also be needed. Drink plenty of water and fluids and avoid any drugs at this moment.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Answered by Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin (5 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Needs workup to say that

Detailed Answer:
Hi! It doesn't necessarily mean that, but for reassurance it is must with such symptoms to do workup for renal diseases with such basic tests. Also that even if it is urinary tract infection, it still can reach upto the renal pelvis or can lead to pyelonephritis so urinalysis with casts will rule alot of grave diseases.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask else kindly close the discussion. Regards.

Brief Answer:
These can be painless

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for sharing the details. Actually urinary tract infection or renal diseases may be associated with lumbar pains, fever, burning in urine or increased frequency or urgency of urine but a vast majority may present without any such symptoms. And labs may turn out to be normal, but these are necessary to be done or you may wait for 2 or 3 days and see if frequent water intake the color of urine may come to normal, but if it doesn't, kindly take these tests.

Brief Answer:
This can be due to proteinuria

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for sharing more details.

The urine with flaky thick whitish layer, or frothing over urine as can be seen in picture you have shared, can be due to protein leak in the urine and for that urinalysis is a must along with 24 hour collection of urine for protein excretion per day. Also that urinary tract infection may present with pyuria or pus in urine which can also present like these precipitates which you have observed.

Also that signs of excessive mucus production along with greenish stools and possibilities of recurrent urinary tract infections asks for a workup of cystic fibrosis. A sweat chloride test with or without pilocarpines administration can be performed to confirm that.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
A laboratory urinalysis is superior to dipstick tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for keep me apprised. Let me clarify few things to you dear, and I would like to discuss these in simple but brief overview. I can totally understand, keeping in view the history of agoraphobia, that you may not be comfortable to go to hospital and undergo extensive investigations, but let me clarify that a labortary urinalysis reveals much more information then routine home strips which detect only presence of nitrites or white blood cells to determine infection, but laboratory urinalysis reveals specific gravity, proteins, ketones, blood cells, leucocyte esterase and many other informations which may be needed to encompass most of the reasons for cloudy urine. There are still quite high chances that it may turn out to be normal but it will essentially make yiu and your doctors relax that their isn't anything big going on. If they felt any need for further labs like ultrasound or renal function tests they might ask you but if they didn't find any abnormality, which I hope will be the case, you will be further reassured. Also that it may help them find any relation of greenish stools or excessive mucus and allergic symptoms with your urinary symptoms. Wishing you good health. Take care.
