What Causes Chronic Throbbing Shoulder Pain, Constant Menstrual Bleeding And Abdominal Pain?

default
Posted on Thu, 1 Oct 2015
Question: I have had pain in my shoulder for months. I have had several MRIs on my spine all normal. They keep telling me a rib is out but the pain is constant and throbbing. Over the last two months, I started bleeding very heavily and I have had my period constant since July 13. The doctors did Ultra sounds and they are going to do a hysterectomy tomorrow. I feel so exhausted and I have been sick to my stomach this entire time. What started with pain in my back has turned to exhaustion, nausea, pain in my abdominal region, and constant menstrual bleeding, and I still have the throbbing in my shoulder. I feel like something else is wrong and some how it is all related but no one thinks the symptoms are related.

Brief Answer:
anaemia caused by continued bleeding....is the cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
If you have been having heavy menses since last few months and continued bleeding not managed medically then it is likely that you have developed ANEMIA and your haemoglobin has gone down leading to anaemic symptoms of exhaustion, weakness, tiredness, moodiness, irritability, decreased appetite, palpitations, pulsations in head, often throbbing headache.
The idea to overcome these symptoms is to compensate the blood loss occurring in vaginal bleeding.
I am sure hysterectomy shall be helpful and you would be offered blood transfusion post or during surgery.
I hope i have answered your query,
Regards
