What Causes Chills, Fatigue And Stomach Cramps?

default
Posted on Tue, 13 Sep 2016
Question: I am in the third day of vague symptoms. Late afternoon chills and fatigue. Today I woke up with the chills and have slept all morning. I now have stomach cramps but no diarrhea. Loss of appetite. Nothing sounds good. Also a cough. Any advice as to what might be wrong?

Brief Answer:
viral syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It sounds like from your symptoms that you have some sort of viral infection that is starting up. These symptoms can be vague like this.
They will either resolve in a few days or get worse and become less vague.
It is possible that something like this could come from bad food if you ate something that was contaminated.
In either case the main thing to do is to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. If you get worse or if you are not better in a week you should see a doctor for an exam and some blood tests to try and determine the cause.
Usually these things pass in about a week if they are viral or from food.
