The cause of chest tightness needs to be evaluated. An EKG (electrocardiogram) would be the first step toward the same. Your doctor would be able to evaluate it and comment. In any case it is likely to have link ups with the raised systolic blood pressure (148). You need to lower your salt intake and need to take blood pressure medication if the blood pressure has been found to be high on at least three different occasions. The lower diastolic blood pressure (72) indicates some amount of incapability of the heart to relax when it should and could be complicating the matters further. It can however be seen with advanced age. Remaining under follow up of a physician is recommended.
