Brief Answer:
detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The pain in chest that increases when pressing ,might be due to 2 possible reasons:
-It might be a muscular pain most likely due to coughing .In this case the pain increases when pressing and when taking deep breaths.
-It might be a pleuritic pain because the bacterial infection of the lungs has caused inflammation of the pleura ,that is a thin layer that cover the lungs.
The inflammation of pleura causes pain that increases in inspirations and in beep breaths.

Usually it resolves on its own.
If you don't have fever, cough with green sputum you can give it some time.
If the pain doesn't seem to improve of it get worse, consult your physician for examination.

Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.

Kind regards,
Dr.Rovena Murati
