Brief Answer:
Infection has to be treated by antibiotics

Detailed Answer:
hi, infection has to be treated by antibiotics
but this should only be done under guidance of a pediatrician or neonatologist.

cbc should be done to rule out sepsis. ideally the child should be admitted in hospital for treatment. a conscious effort should be made to find out why the child developed uti. this should include an ultrasound abdomen.

moreover patient may need injectable antibiotics.

I would strongly suggest all this with your treating doctor and get the child admitted for treatment if needed

best wishes

Brief Answer:
Can be treated with antibiotics for 7 to 10 days.

Detailed Answer:
hi,

uti in her can be easily treated by antibiotics for 7 to 10 days.

all medicines will go to the child through breastfeeding. so best would be to use amoxicillin or cefexime under guidance of your doctor they are safe for children also
