What Causes Cheek Ulceration, Sore Throat And Fever After Wisdom Teeth Eruption?
Question: My upper jaw wisdom tooth is beginning to crown n has caused soreness n ulcer on my inner cheek. How will the ulcer heal. Its causing me immense pain and discomfort. I also have a sore throat and slight temperature.

Read your query and understand your concern . As you have beginning of wisdom tooth which caused ulceration in cheek, soreness in throat and slight rise in temperature this can be due to erupting wisdom tooth which might be bucaly impacted (placed) . Nothing to be worried so much for this I will suggest you to Apply topical ointment like Mugel or Mucopain gel containing anaesthic lignocaine and analgesic choline salicylate .
-Do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day .
- You can take medication like Vitamin B 12 supplements with folic acid .
- For slight temperature you can take Medicine like Diclomol SP or Paracetamol by consulting with local doctor.
Lesion (ulcer) should heal by 7 days . If it is not healing in this duration then consult good oral surgeon and go for clinical examination and get it evaluated.
