Question: Hi, A few weeks ago I had an allergy attack to air freshener. I am histamine intolerant. And, very reactive to environmental pollution. The wife of the owner of a piano store in this town had dabbed air freshener on each of the felt of the key hammers in my new old piano ( 1924 Wurlitzer baby grand). This is unheard of. When it was delivered 3 days later, and I played, it became very noticeable that I was inhaling the toxic each time I played a key. As a musician, I was playing many keys all at once the entire breadth of the piano. I have been recovering from this ...and am near the end of recovery...feeling fine. I've noticed a change in my "stool" for elimination...in texture from solid to softer, and in color from darker to medium. That's the background for my question: Does an allergy bring on a change in elimination? Mine, specifically. (About my piano....I am donating it to a small church in the Catskills of New York....a bit of a distance from where I live. The pastor is a a pianist, also. The small congregation has be praying for a piano. Looks like God truly blessed me with this unusual piano, for a short while, and now it continues its journey into a church in the hills... My question: Is my elimination experience with having the allergy leave my body pretty typical? And, what can I do to help the elimination normalized?
