What Causes Burps That Taste Like Popcorn While Having Lactose Intolerance?
Question: I'm having lots of burps that taste like popcorn. could this be due to lactose intolerance? I ate ice cream before bed. or is it some kind of food poisoning? my stomach keeps churning and churning also. I've taken Pepto.

Lactose intolerance normally presents with diarrhoea and it usually presents after birth.
As far as your case is concerned , it doesn't appear lactose intolerance or food poisoning.
Food poisoning presents with excessive vomiting and diarrhoea..
All you need is to stay calm and if I am your attending physician I will prescribe you Omeprazole 40 mg once a day...
Avoid spicy and fast food for time being and use simple food and fruits.
You will be fine.
