Brief Answer:
Might be blood from infection or stone but tests are needed to confirm

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.

I carefully read your question and understand your concern.

If you have the burning sensation the dark specks it might be blood very likely and there are two main reasons for it: one is infection and one is urinary stones.

They both can cause blood in the urine. To make sure if it really is blood or not and which is the reason for it, it is important to have a simple urinalysis; sometimes a urine-culture to check for bacteria might be helpful also.

If the urinary tests show infection and presence of bacteria you will need to take the proper antibiotics to treat it. The best way to determine the antibiotics to be used if there is infection is by the results of the urine-culture.
Drinking plenty of fluids is good to wash out the urinary tract and help with infection healing also.

If no infection or bacterial detected than more rare but important disease like urinary tract masses can be the cause of the symptoms and should be investigated for those.

There also other causes of changes in urine culture like chemicals that might be in food or some food specifically.

I hope this answers to your question and is helpful to you but please feel free to ask if anymore clarification is needed on this issue.

Kind Regards

Dr Antoneta Zotaj
