Brief Answer:
Swelling could be Lipoma.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Swelling below the ribcage on right side could be Lipoma, i. e. accumulation of fat.Hernia is very very rare in that area . Hernia is a possibility in the upper abdomen, in the middle quadrant, in the line of bellybutton (the uploaded image is not visible, please upload it again).

Ultrasound abdomen will give a clue. It also confirms any lesion in the Liver, Gall bladder which are present in the upper quadrant on the right side.

Please consult your doctor and proceed further.
Nothing to worry.

Till investigation, I prescribe skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing Thiocolchicoside 4mg twice daily to my patients with similar complaints (you may need a prescription for this).

Hope I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
Regards
