Brief Answer:
Advice regarding acute sunburn on shoulder and taning on face

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I sm dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and i have noted your concern

You seem to have developed acute sunburn on shoulders due to exposure to strong sun more than what your skin could tolerate.
I suggest you to stay away from sun till the sunburn heals. Also use a broad spectrum sunscreen throughout the day on all exposed skin including face. Reapply every 2-3 hours, specially when outdoors.
At night you may use a topical steroid cream e.g tenovate cream over sunburnt skin.
With these measures your skin should return to normal in about a week.
For tanning on face you may use glycolic acid cream e.g glyco-A cream once daily at night. Also use sunscreen throughout the day on face.

Regards
