Question: Yesterday my lips felt like they were burning. Then the next morning they were slightly swollen. And my tongue felt swollen. But no itching or redness anywhere. Is that an allergic reaction ?

Brief Answer:
Yes it could be an allergic reaction.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Yes it could be an allergic reaction though a mild one.

Did you notice any insect bite like a mosquito, ant or a bee sting?

Did you have any difficulty in swallowing or breathing?

I suggest you take an antialergic like loratidin or cetrizine and in future in case you have symtoms like difficulty in breathing or swallowing pl report to emergency dept of a hospital.

Take care.
