Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Such type of burning in feet is called as neuropathic pains and is referred as peripheral neuropathy.
Although diabetes is the most common cause for such type of neuropathic pains in feet, but there can be various other causes for such tupe of pains, which include
Alcohol abuse
Deficiency of VIT B12 and folate
Chronic kidney diseases
HIV infections
Any local injury
Tight fitting shoes
Fungal infection like athlete's foot.
Sometimes, one can not find the cause and then it is called as idiopathic peripheral neuropathy.
I would advise you to discuss with your doctor and get the required investigations done so as to arrive at the diagnosis and take appropriate treatment.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
