Question:
My Father is having I have a burning sensation on side and above belly button(umbilicus) from past 4 days wanted to check the reason and remedies for the same.
He took omez Tablet yesterday got some temporary relief .But today That burning Sensation is still tehre

Hello,

* Digestive enzyme insufficiency or hormonal imbalance are prime concerns .
* Recommendations at present

Dietary guidelines :

- Give him plenty of liquids including boiled water , lemon juice , butter milk .
- Prefer soft , light , bland diet .
- Avoid all spicy , non veg , oily stuffs .
- Avoid prolong fasting , over eating .

Medications guidelines :

- Continue cap . omeprazole ( 20 mg ) morning and evening with sips of water
on empty stomach .
- Add bulk forming laxative as Ispaghula husk 3 teaspoonful with a glass of
lukewarm water morning and evening .

Life style modifications :

- Walking in fresh air , deep breathing exercises , YOGA will help .
- Avoid stress , anxiety .
- Manage to have regular sound sleep of 8 hours .
- Do not allow to sleep for minimum 2 - 3 hours after major meals .

* Follow up after 24 hours (for deciding future management guidelines according to the progress ) or early as per the requirement.
