default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jul 2015
Question: Dr. Vanshul if available,

My lower abdominal surface burning pain is getting worse now my whole abdomen skin is painful to touch as if the fatty layer just under the skin is cut.

I read about acidity reflux but the symptoms are not similar the pain does not go away.

It is fasting month here and the pain is varying but localized in both sides of the lower abdomen wall.

Brief Answer:
Get an Ultrasound Abdomen.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. See acid reflux can cause these symptoms too however they are not classical.
Just check your skin surface if you have any lesion on the skin. In that case this can be skin related issue like Scabies.
I would also advice you to get an Ultrasound Abdomen done to rule out any Kidney stones or evidence of fatty liver or obstructive liver disease as that can also cause such symptoms which are actually itching.
Carry on with Pantoprazole and Domperidone combination as prolonged fasting can really precipitate acid reflux. Also see a doctor who would evaluate you clinically and do share my opinion with him.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
