Question: 15 months ago I got scratched from racoon in my lower leg in San Francisco. Racoon was with his/her baby. Within 3 hours I was in the hospital having immogloublin and vaccination treatment. I then had more 3 vaccinations over a month. My leg has been sore bear where the scratches were the last three weeks feels like muscle pain then it burns /hurts. My MD in this country told the fact that I had treatment and has it so quick Means I do not have rabies despite pain in my leg now. Do you agree? I am so frightened

Brief Answer:
I totally agree to this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have reviewed your information fully. There is no chance for rabies. Rabbies doesn't manifest with pain, it manifest with neurological symptoms. Death is the unwritten outcome. The mere fact that you are still alive means you never had it.

I wish you well. Stop being worries.

Brief Answer:
You are very safe!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Rabies often start with persons having a phobia for water. It soon progresses to have difficulties swallowing and an aggressive attitude. Persons with measles would have long died. You are not only safe but you are very safe and protected in case of any future exposure to possible rabies.

I wish you well.
