What Causes Burning In Mouth With Strong Mouth Odor After Using Carbamide Peroxide?

default
Posted on Mon, 8 Sep 2014
Question: about a month ago I used carbamide peroxide 6.5% for ear wax removal. when I used the water dropper to flush it out it trickled down the side of my face and into my mouth. I rinsed it out with water but the next morning I had some milk and my tongue felt like it was on fire. had a full panel of blood work done and everything came back good. one morning I woke up because it felt like my insides were on fire. my saliva has been continuous with a yellow color and strong odor. other symptoms include tingling in hands and feet, sweating in back of head, problems controlling bowel, diarrhea with yellow color (same odor as saliva). I have been to my doctor several times and ER once

Brief Answer:
not related to peroxide

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic,

Peroxide can cause some burning if it trickles into the mouth undiluted.

Apart from that it does not cause any other symtoms. There can be temporary loss of taste for a couple of days.

All your other symtoms are due to some other cause.

You need to see a physician (MD) to get yourself examined to determine the exact cause for all your symptoms.
