Question: For the past 3 days I've been spotting pinkish/brownish discharge its very faint and I'm not sure if its implantation bleeding or my period waiting to come... my period is suppose to come on march 4th... the last time I had sex was valentines day... so could this mean I could be pregnant? but the thing is I'm on birth control though so is it still possible for me to get pregnant?

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is very less likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
With birth control, chances of your getting pregnant are very remote.
It is likely that the spotting is your period, which is about to come.
While you are on birth control, such spotting is quite common.
Anyways, you can take a pregnancy test after a couple of days, if you do not see your full blown period by then.
All the best.
Please feel free to discuss further.
