Question: I have a hard bony lump the size of a small grape in the middle of my forehead. only noticed it about two weeks ago. Not painful and not movable under terh skin. Feels like bone

Brief Answer: Bony lump Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic, It could be a bony outgrowth from the skull bone called osteoma or osteoid osteoma if it is hard and bony as you said. Sometimes cysts and lipomas can calcify to form bony swellings, but you didnt have any swelling there earlier. Did you sustain any blunt injury over forehead as a hematoma can also calcify. I would recommend you to see an orthopedician and take an x-ray of the skull. If it is osteoma it can be surgically removed. Hope this helped, Take care.
