Question: the woman approached me I am a private investigator she has gone to her doctor several times. She has sores on her head all over which are seeping thick fluidlike syrup she has lost over 75% of her hair. her doctor cannot explain it he thinks she's pulling her hair out she can't make him understand that her her scalp has become like a sponge she takes a shower and the water is absorbed through her scalp. It drives you insane she shakes her head and places towels over her head to absorb this fluid. Her hair breaks off and gets matted against her scalpshe pulls her hair away from her scalp because its stuck there this woman had long beautiful blonde hair 1 year ago. She said she was working outside in her garden when she noticed her head began to itch after a while there was sores on her head. This woman has gone into a state of depression because no Dr understands what is going on with her. More depressed yet she has no insurance no skin specialist will see her it is killing her. Please help if possible thank you

Brief Answer:
Fungal infection suspected

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
A history of sponge like scalp, hair fall, sores and itching suggest fungal infection of the scalp.
There is specific fungal infection of the scalp which produces boggy swelling of scalp.
the boggy swelling is due to accumulation of pus.
Hair fall is secondarily due to the infection.
A history of working in the garden further supports the possibility of fungal infection.
You need to consult a dermatologist at the earliest for clinical assessment and treatment.
