Brief Answer:
may be a viral illness, symptoms can last 7 to 10 days

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Based on the symptoms mentioned, you seem to have a viral illness. As you stated, you may not need the antibiotic since there is no fever but since it has been prescribed, you can take it to see if it helps.
You should also take the cough syrup especially at night so that you can get some rest.
Cough can sometimes last a few weeks in a some cases. If the cough is wet, you would need something to help break up the mucus such as bisolvan, mucomyst or guaifenesin.

Using enough fluid and rest, are also very important.

The sore throat/pain in the throat which improved on its own sounds viral not like strep throat. Strep throat would cause severe persistent pain, fever and would need antibiotics to go away.
Fatigue, aches and pain are normal with these infections.

In many persons, symptoms last 7 to 10 days.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Brief Answer:
often 5 to 10 days depends on severity of infection

Detailed Answer:
HI

Cefuroxime is usually twice daily for most persons but there may be a specific reason that your doctor suggested once daily

In many persons it requires at least 2 times a day to be effective

In terms of time frame, at least 5 to 10 days. At least 5 days should be used

If anything else is unclear, can let me know

Brief Answer:
probiotics would help

Detailed Answer:
HI

Sorry about the late reply

Using probiotics would help with the stomach issues. You can use probiotics on their own or use the yogurts that have probiotics.
The probiotics would help to relieve these symptoms
