What Causes Blurred Vision When Diagnosed With Dry Eyes?

Question: My husband was diagnosed with dry eyes, but now he experiencing blurry visión. Sensible to light and some blink involuntary movement. Vision is worst in left eye.

Hi, Thanks for posting a query to HCM.


Acute cause of such symptoms usually is due to any infection of the eye. As you are not complaining of watering or redness of the eye it is not due to any infection.

Blurred vision at this age is mostly due to glucoma or cataract. Both the conditions cannot be ruled out with out physical examination of the eye.

I suggest you to stop any drops which you are taking with out prescription. And meet an ophthalmologist at the earliest possible.

His food habits have no relation with this condition.
