Question: Hello just quick question I am no further with answers from previous discussions. The pins and needles subsided during end of December no further episodes of sight loss however recently (last week) I have had blurry vision and pins and needles returned with a vengeance. It seems to occur each time I pass urine. The urologist has done urodynamics and diagnosd severe overactive bladder which despite medication not imroved and now be having botox injections into my bladder. I can't help feeling although told by neurologist is a different problem that it is related. I am not convinced it is a migraine but have had quite an hectic and distressing new year due to mother being unwell. I have been taken of pregabalin and am at amatryptilin

Brief Answer:
Overactive bladder most probably related to stress

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for asking me directly.

Your overactive bladder may be related to stress you have being through lately and Amytriptiline use should improve it.

Your past urinary problems affect bladder function too.

It is less possible that urinary bladder overactiveness to be related to Migraines, but it is not excluded totally as a possibility.

Blurry vision, pins and needles related to urination enforce the possibility of stress related disorder, so I think Botox injections together with Amytriptiline should help improve your symptoms.
