Brief Answer: Kindly provide the requested data... Detailed Answer: Hi, Before running into final conclusions, I'd like to have if the peanut butter you ate did have artificial coloring (red)? Did you also consume other food containing artificial coloring? Are you also having problems with constipation or hemorrhoids? If you had only one episode of bright red color in stool after eating peanut butter, it might be related to the artificial coloring. Furthermore, other foods or drinks you have consumed might have changed the color of your stool. Unless you are having other symptoms, like fever, constipation, etc, which need further evaluation. Looking forward to have your data in! Dr.Klerida
