Brief Answer:
"Seborrheic dermatitis" or "Pemphigus foliaceus (PF)". Go for skin biopsy.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Welcome back to the forum and thanks a lot for your detailed reply. The various related things which I asked in the previous mail was to measure the severity of the problem. I beg your pardon for erroneously getting the thing in your son. Now I got that the condition is present in yourself.

I can make out a condition of "Seborrheic dermatitis" or due to blistering disorder such as "Pemphigus foliaceus (PF)" in your case. Though I require good resolution pictures to confirm the same but as per the description it indicates us towards the same.

In my patients the basic approach is to go for skin biopsy. I generally take a small piece of 3 millimeter from the affected skin. This skin is examined for the best possible cause an then the findings are clinically correlated.

I suggest you to meet a dermatologist and go for skin biopsy to get the exact diagnosis of the condition.

My best wishes for the earliest recovery.

Brief Answer:
Various suggestions for interim of help to deal with the condition.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Welcome back and thanks a lot for your further follow up. Till the time you meet a proper dermatologist and skin biopsy done you can follow the suggestions below:

- Clean the pus discharging area with an diluted antiseptic lotion. Do not apply the lotion directly as can cause irritation. Dilute the antiseptic lotion with four times the amount water.

- Do not try to pinch or pop the area or unnecessarily touch the area as can cause further aggravation.

- Keep your self away from hot and humid climate.

- Take two times bath.

- Wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments to be changed two times a day. Do not wear any synthetic or tight garments.

- Do not sit continuously for long hours.

- In your kind of condition I suggest my patients to apply an antibiotic cream such as mupirocin ( T-bact) over the affected area.

- An anti-histamine tablet such as Des-loratadine (Tab Dazit or Lorfast) for two times can be taken to reduce the itching over the affected area.

In case if you feel that there is more discharge of pus or if pain increases then a course of antibiotic could be taken from a family physician.
