What Causes Bleeding After Bowel Movements?

Question: There is little fresh red blood on the toilet paper from stool.. Should i be worried ? 7 years ago i had this one timw and immediately to stop worrying i had a colonoscopy and the doctor found all is normal. Should i go now have a colonoscopy again ? I am always worried about health stuff or should i ignore if it doesnt show in the next few days ?

1. Had it before a couple of times long time ago but not regularly.
2. I did colonoscopy as prevention without any reason in one the instances that showed a little blood and the doctor said there is nothing. This was years back.
3. I am not suffering from constipation.
4 i dont recall i strained.
5. Blood was not mixed in stool only on toilet paper
6. No pain in anal region

Mostly such kind of bleeding occurs due to piles. But if you are not constipated that should not occur.
I would advise you to take a laxative like Lactulose for a few days. If this happens again then you should get a Proctoscopy done to rule out any fissures or piles.
