What Causes Black Stools, Blurred Vision And Low Haemoglobin Level In Blood?
Question: Over the past few years I experienced black stools and blurred vision while stressing over a lawsuit - working 15 hrs/day without taking a timeout. I did not report all my medical signs to my doctor at VA, but I did report blurred vision due to long hours which VA determined to be related to my PTSD (permanent and total). A few days ago I walked a few feet when excruciating abdominal pain dropped me to my knees and I began to gasp for air for 3-4 minutes. I was taken by ambulance to the local hospital. I was told that with 15 being normal that my HGB was 5. They also mentioned another test (unknown) with normal being 45 my count was 15. What was the other test and how dangerous was my situation had I not gone immediately to the hospital
