default
Posted on Fri, 28 Aug 2015
Question: Hi, I am 28 year male. Yesterday morning when I got up and went to toilet, I saw dark red(black-ish) colour in my urine. The colour of the toilet was reddish next two time I went to pee but is normal now.
2 days before this, there was a acne (funsi) over the fore-skin of my penis.
I was on a trip from last 5 days and quality of food I ate was not so good.
A local doctor available suggested me - Tab Neri 3 times, Azithral 500 once a day, Seradic P twice a day, Okacet L (Levocetirizine) 5mg once a day. Kindly suggest

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Primarily I feel that blood in your urine might be due to the rupture of boil on the foreskin of your penis.Since there is no bleeding now, nothing is to be done now.
Complete the course of medicine given by your doctor.
In case bleeding reoccurs and that too after healing of your boil, then you would need to be examined and investigated for finding the cause by examining your urine as well as an ultrasound of your abdomen ( KUB ).
I hope it helps however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks

Hi Doctor, Thank you for the reply.
I think, blood was not due to rupture of the boil as it is on the fore-skin and secondly it is still there.
As no good doctor was available in the area, kindly suggest do I need to see a doctor now or if not, is this medication already suggested good or you want some change?

Hello,
This medicine is meant for the boil.
If blood is really coming in your urine, then you need to be seen by a urologist for proper diagnosis and management.
Thanks
