Question: woke up with black eye. I do wear a mask for my cap.

I read your question. Black eye can be following injury in head or it can be due to hypertension causing rupture of vessels.I want to ask few questions to understand your case.

No hypertension. Taking no prescription meds. No trauma. yes I am able to see.

Hello,
I have studied your case and I can assure you that it does not look like a serious issue. I would recommend you to see a eye specialist. He can examine your eye and find out the cause of this black eye. Some time insect bite and allergic reaction can also cause black eye but it is very rare.
Till that time you can continue washing your eye with clear water, and also ice application. I would also suggest you to take Brufen tablet if there is any pain in the eye after discussing with your doctor.
